Network Design & Support Limited, trading as NDS8, was established by Tim Heywood in October 2004, to provide "expert" consulting and support to customers either using or planning to use Novell products. It was based upon an existing business, also trading as NDS8, which provided high level specialised consulting skills to the IT infrastructure market throughout the UK and Europe.

NDS8 is a Novell Platinum Partner. Throughout the UK there are only 11 others whose skills and capabilities have been similarly recognised. NDS8, however, adds another dimension to the equation, it is the only consultancy to employ a Novell Knowledge partner in the UK.

We specialise in delivering consulting and technology solutions spanning the complex and diverse needs of business. From first point of contact through day-to-day operations to your most complex eCommerce / infrastructure needs, NDS8 delivers the solution using proven methodology, open architecture, best of breed practices, and a customised approach which has positioned us as a trusted technology partner and advisor to our clients. Through our growing reputation we have won many new customers since 2004. This has enabled revenues to exceed £1 million in our current financial year - a figure which is continuing to grow rapidly.

Tim Heywood has based the technical team's expansion on the principle of only recruiting the highest calibre consultants and has implemented an internal training and comprehensive research program, ensuring these qualities are maintained. As a result NDS8 has many UK, European and World Wide firsts for various Novell technologies by a Novell Business Partner and has led to Tim being invited to speak at Novell's BrainShare conferences.
